“In my experience in this business for almost 25 years, I’ve been able to see a lot of different circumstances in accounting services. Start-up businesses frequently have the most problems getting going and being successful. In fact, I think the average number of new businesses start up, probably 90% of them fail. The reason for this failure rate is because they probably didn’t get professional assistance in starting up a business. There are just so many governmental bureaucratic obstacles that a businessman has to go through that it’s extraordinarily difficult to know how to do all those things unless you’re an expert at it.

A lot of businessmen will start their business on their own because they’re trying to save money, and they don’t hire an accountant or accounting professional to assist them. The results are, they get themselves in a lot of trouble. I frequently see a client come in looking for help that’s already in trouble. They’re so far behind on taxes and forms and documentation that they’re already in more trouble that they can probably pull out of. If the client would just start the business under the guidance of a professional, they can avoid some of those obstacles.

My experience is, I can probably prevent almost all of those obstacles, and we can take those obstacles off the table, and we cover you while you’re getting your business started and make sure you go to that the transition phase with ease. When you get into the business and if it is successful, you don’t have those obstacles holding you back, and you are more successful. The amount of work that you have to do with our firm is as little as you want to. We can do as much of it as you want us to do, we don’t want to charge you for something you don’t need, we don’t want to charge you for services you don’t need, but we want to make sure that all your obligations are taken care of.”
